To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained and to promote a positive health and safety culture, risk assessments and method statements are developed to ensure that all individuals and property are protected from VIAM’s company operations.

When developing risk assessments it has to be identified what hazards are expected, who may be harmed and how, and what can be done to minimise the risk of hazards occurring. This allows suitable control measures to be developed to reduce the likelihood of identified hazards occurring.

Method statements will also be developed to ensure that all personnel are aware of how to carry out their duties properly and safely.

Following these methods promotes a safe system of work and protecting the safety and welfare of anybody affected by King Construction’s operations.
